RB confident Zambia will achieve MDG on education |

Mongu---- President Rupiah Banda has expressed confidence that Zambia would achieve the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) on Education for all by the year 2015.
President was answering questions in an interview conducted by five pupils of Kanyonyo Basic School dubbed “Stay BBC” in Mongu before his departure for Lusaka at Mongu airport Wednesday. Asked about the MMD’s chance in the Luena Parliamentary by election, the President said he was hopeful that the ruling party’s candidate would carry the day. President Banda was happy that the campaigns in Luena were been conducted in a peaceful manner.
The President was in Mongu to drum up support for the MMD candidate Mwangala Maopu in the by election slated for August 5, 2010. |
